Today marks 40 years since the release of the Sex Pistols’ debut single, Anarchy in the UK. To mark the anniversary of the movement, various London institutions are announcing punk programmes for 2016 under the header Punk London (#PunkLondon). Specifically, UK Government, the Mayor of London and the National Lottery are sponsoring and funding the initiative, to celebrate the anniversary.
