The other face of New York

Last time I was in New York was before year 2000. Before the attack. Before 9/11. Before 2000 people died. Before the years of controls and terror. It was before Obama and the new hope. Before the recession. Before the years of crisis and inequality. Before Occupy Wall Street. Before Zuccotti Park. Before Chomsky and Naomi Klein.

Last time I was in New York was before year 2000.

Fourteen years profoundly changed this city to the eyes of observers like I am. Still fascinating, but human, and friendly, as it never was before.
