WP has just been updated to 4.4.1 security and maintenance release. It includes 52 bug fixes, as reported by WP Tavern.
Twenty Sixteen has been updated too, to version 1.1. I couldn’t find a changelog, but then I discovered an interesting editor-style.css diff check list.
FInally, WP 4.5 dev team kicked-off today. New release is set for mid-April.
